Kardashian wore an all-black ensemble, putting her hood up prior to taking off on the ride. A source told People Magazine that the hand-holding was likely attributed to the thrill of the ride and the two are “just friends.”

“They hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time,” the source reportedly said. “It’s just friends hanging out.”

Despite the fact that it’s entirely plausible these two are just friends, many of the rumors spread after Davidson shared a kiss with the Kardashian in an SNL skit.
In the skit, the unlikely duo played Jasmine and Aladdin. The punchline of the sketch was that Davidson’s character would not be equipped to satisfy Kardashian sexually, given her penchant for men of color.

The running joke seems to be that Pete Davidson has a history of dating celebrities when they need a rebound. His dating history includes Cazzie David, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Phoebe Dynevor, as well as a previous engagement to Ariana Grande in 2018. Now, is that a fair assessment? In reality, the two really do just run in the same friend group. Davidson knows the famous family through mutual friend Machine Gun Kelly, who is pals with Blink-182 drummer Barker. Travis Barker is now engaged to Kourtney Kardashian and they were also spotted screaming on the coaster.
Years ago, they were also seen hanging out a Kid Cudi’s birthday party in January 2019, and the SNL skit obviously brought the group together again.
Kim Kardashian’s pending divorce to her husband and Pete Davidson’s newfound singleness is bound to cause so speculation, but it’s not so unreasonable that they could just be friends. Then again, these are two of the most unpredictable people on the internet… I guess we’ll wait and see.
