Drew Afualo’s podcast is officially Spotify Exclusive.
As of April 5th, 2023, listeners can now tune into Afualo on Spotify with weekly special guests. Notable from her videos on TikTok, the creator kicked off her first episode with special guest Bretman Rock.
In their conversation on how many associate them as “DA BADDEST,” Bretman states, “Something that I always say is that I really genuinely think haters are like ghosts. You really only see them if you look for them, girl. I don’t think I have haters because I don’t [bleep] looking for my haters, girl.”
Drew agreed with Rock in the episode stating, “I think that confidence comes from within. It’s purely derived from you, it’s not from pulling from others. That’s what all of these videos did, it’s like they derive their confidence from pushing other people down. And you are not a baddy if that’s the case.”
Many on TikTok are familiar with Drew’s content, and the creator wanted to keep the same authenticity with ‘The Comment Section’.
“I promised I would spread to every streaming platform so the terrible men never stop itching… and I always keep my promises,” Drew joked in her announcement on Instagram.
According to Edison Research, Spotify is the most used podcast service US and has the widest network. The platform reaches far more users among Gen Z and Young Millennials audiences, which is changing the industry. This hit podcast further expands Spotify’s commitment to growth in these sectors.
Upcoming guests on the show include Meghan Trainor, Shea Couleé, Patrick Starr, Tess Holliday, Monét X Change.
