Social Media Promotion without Britney Spears
Claims on TikTok starting pouring in when the audio promo was seen on places like Will.I.Am’s social channels.
Many took note that the Black Eyed Peas singer was the only one promoting the track and not Britney herself.
After hearing the initial sneak peak, many users thought it did not sound like Britney Spears. Some claimed that the track might have been recorded by Myah Marie back in the early 2010s.

Fans Accuse Myah Marie of Recording Single Instead of Britney
For context, fan theories have gone around that Myah Marie recorded most of the backup vocals for ‘Britney Jean’ album. Many accused that her backing vocals were actually used for the main audio on several popular songs.
Around that same time, the frontman and Spears were allegedly working on music together. This lead some to believe that this new song released on July 20th was actually a scrapped single from the early 2010s.
Upon promotion of “Mind Your Business”, Spears did not make any announcement on social media. However, Marie reposted several of the posts about the track, but when users thought she was behind the vocals, she was accused of taking them down.

Some users even pointed out that Myah Marie posted a video previously mentioning that there was scrapped single that was one of her ‘favorites.’
She mentioned it was “something about business” and wished Britney Spears “would have recorded.”

Fans have even claimed the song does not sound “fresh.”
Fans Claim Album Artwork is AI Generated
Aside from the vocals, many also noted that the album art was a Britney Spears photo from 2003. Some accused that the label or team behind the track used AI to put Britney in a new outfit alongside Will.I.Am.
Rumors of a music video came about when a user named _britneyonemoretime made a post on Threads. The user alleged that Britney Spears was also not involved with the production stating, “I was asked to be @britneyspears double for “mind ya business” music video early June but things were so fishy, they wanted to use Deep fake and put me in a yellow bikini… I respectfully asked if britney had signed off on this and they could not give me an answer or a contract so I respectfully denied their offer.
Spears posted one promo about the song on her Instagram Story after the song debuted.
