As Taylor Swift and NFL Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce‘s relationship continues, fans supporting the recent connection continue to draw similarities between the two. Swift was famously criticized for always acting joyful and excited amid a now long-running winners’ streak at a series of award shows, and commented on the phenomenon years later. The singer famously stated that “the worst kind of person is someone who makes people feel, bad, dumb, or stupid for being excited about something.”
A TikTok user spliced the interview clip with a recent NFL press conference appearance from Kelce, in which he appeared to echo this sentiment. Kelce said “there’s nothing wrong with being excited and being happy in a new environment.”

Fans of the couple continue to cheer them on in the comments. One TikTok user wrote “Taylor taught me it’s ok to romanticize things in your life so you enjoy it more.” Another commenter wrote “oh my God why am I crying this is so wholesome.” Swift has been spotted in the VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium and the Met Life stadium a number of times this football season to support Kelce. The tight end also allegedly sent Swift a large bouquet and personal note to congratulate her on the premiere of her “The Eras Tour” film in Los Angeles, California.
Fans also previously spotted another invisible string between the couple from long before their relationship is perceived to have begun. At the beginning of each game, Kelce tends to gesture as if he is an archer, in homage to his team’s name and Arrowhead Stadium. Swift performs the same gesture while singing “The Archer” during her “The Eras Tour.”

Back To The “Lover” Era
While the couple have made a number of public appearances in New York City and Kansas City, Kelce has expressed his intent to keep the details of their personal relationship private. The NFL player reiterated these wishes in another recent press appearance when asked if he was in love with Swift, saying he wanted to “keep his personal relationship personal.”

The pair first united when a few months ago, his home stadium of Arrowhead was converted to a concert venue in the city for Swift’s tour, and the singer left a lasting impression on the NFL tight end. The Kelce brothers recounted Travis becoming enchanted with Swift, and getting creative with trying to get her attention. The NFL star admitted that he attempted to hand Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
The new romantics continue to show support for one another throughout this football season and the upcoming second leg of Swift’s tour.
