Powell will star alongside actress Sydney Sweeney in the film, and the pair of costars have attracted viral attention over their chemistry onscreen and off. Initially, fans of the romantic comedy genre were excited to see a film with promising lead actors who had good chemistry. Sweeney has been engaged to fiancé Jonathan Davino since last year.

The romantic comedy from Will Gluck (of “Easy A” and “Friends With Benefits” success) follows the enemies-to-lovers reunion of two former college rivals at a former classmate’s destination wedding. It is based on Shakespeare’s comedy “Much Ado About Nothing.” Filming wrapped recently after several months in Sydney, Australia.
Powell has not commented on the cheating allegations, and neither has Sweeney at this time. “Anyone But You” does not have a confirmed release date at this time.
