The cult classic movie Good Burger officially has a second installment coming nearly 26 years later.
The film, originally a ‘90s sketch that first aired on All That in 1994 and later turned into a movie in 1997, officially has another movie set to release soon. Duo Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson reunite with many other original cast members to bring one new movie that will have many excited.
When it came to making a movie over two decades later from the original, the team also said that the case was more than excited to be apart of a new installment. In addition, the writers of the film even said that the nostalgia of the original was a big part of the premise for viewers.
Thompson stated, “I can’t believe it’s been a little over 25 years since great customer service was born at Good Burger! Being a part of something so many generations of people have come to love has made me so proud and now to be back where it all began working on the sequel is surreal! Love performing with my brother Kel and can’t wait to show the fans what these characters have been up to since we last saw them.”
Mitchell also added, “Ed is one of those timeless characters that has brought so much joy and laughter to fans, and it’s such a beautiful blessing to still be doing it after all these years. It’s super awesome to come back and continue the stories of Dex, Ed and Good Burger for both the people who grew up watching and their kids.”
Nickelodeon is now in its 43rd year, and it the number one entertainment brand for kids.
In addition to Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, Good Burger 2 also stars Lil Rel Howery (Get Out) as Cecil McNevin, Jillian Bell (Murder Mystery 2) as Katt Boswell, Kamaia Fairburn (Blockbuster) as Mia, Alex R. Hibbert (THE CHI) as Ed2, Fabrizio Guido (Perry Mason) as Mr. Jensen, Elizabeth Hinkler (The Good Doctor) and Emily Hinkler (The Good Doctor) as Cindy and Mindy and Anabel Graetz (Free Guy) as Ruth. The film also will feature surprise celebrity cameos as well as original Good Burger cast members who are reprising their roles: Josh Server as Fizz, Lori Beth Denberg as Connie Muldoon and Carmen Electra as Roxanne.

The fan demand for seeing ‘90s icons Kenan and Kel back together has been notoriously positive, and many can’t wait to see the new installment.
Good Burger 2 premieres on November 23rd exclusively on Paramount+ in the UK & Ireland.
