People online really thought that Harry Styles drooling over Emily Ratajkowski years before their recent make-out session.
In a clip that has been circulated across the web, many thought that Styles, 29, once referred to the model as his ‘celebrity crush.’
The clip in question comes from 2014 and was a promotional run for the album Four by One Direction. At the time, Emily was actually Liam Payne’s celebrity crush according to Styles.
Marked around the five minute mark in the clip, Styles makes a remark that has been since taken out of context.
“Liam’s been seeing…” Styles starts, before interrupted by a band mate who says “Lindsay Lohan.” The Grammy winner then continues his thought, saying quietly “Emily Ratajkowski from Gone Girl, that’s who Liam [likes].”
“I’ve seen her but I haven’t seen the film,” Payne responded. “You know, we’re taking it slow.”

Styles actually came out of the interview and claimed: “You know who I quite fancy — Emily Blunt.”
Some fans have posted their own edited versions of the interview out of order making it seem like Styles in fact had the crush on Emily Ratajkowski. Payne has been in the news lately for his recent fair procedures but also for some of his comments about the boyband.
Ratajkowski has previously spoken about Styles, too. In a 2016 clip, asking if she and Harry can date, the model responded with. “I don’t know, I’m not sure I believe in fans setting people up,” she said. “I don’t know if that’s the way to find the best kind of relationship.”
Styles and Ratajkowski were spotted kissing in Tokyo thanks to photographs obtained from the Daily Mail. Styles was in Japan thanks to his Love on Tour concert series, which will be picking up in May once again – landing the singer in Denmark as the next stop.
Julia Fox has even showed her support for the two potential dating.
