Josh Hall, the estranged husband of HGTV star Christina Hall, is calling for privacy amid their separation, describing the divorce as “a divorce I did not ask for.” Hall took to Instagram to express his desire for discretion, sharing a post featuring his dog and emphasizing his wish to handle the situation privately.

“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for,” Josh Hall wrote in the caption. “I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends, and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever.”

He continued, “We are real humans, this is our life, and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us know who we are.”

Josh Hall, known for his appearances on HGTV’s “Flip or Flop” and “Christina on the Coast,” filed for divorce from Christina last month after nearly three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Christina also filed her own divorce petition, alleging that Josh took funds from her account. The couple had a private wedding in 2021 and held a formal ceremony the following year.

Christina Hall, who has been a prominent figure on HGTV, was previously married to Tarek El Moussa, her co-star on “Flip or Flop,” and Ant Anstead, who hosts “Celebrity IOU: Joyride.” She shares two children with El Moussa and one with Anstead. Anstead has recently made headlines for his relationship with Oscar winner Renée Zellweger.

In May, Christina and Josh Hall announced a new HGTV series, “The Flip Off,” which is set to premiere in early 2025. The show will feature Christina reuniting with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, a star on “Selling Sunset.” The married couples will compete against each other in home-flipping challenges. It remains uncertain how the ongoing divorce will impact the series or their participation in it.

Josh Hall’s request for privacy reflects a broader desire to manage the separation away from the public eye, focusing on resolving the matter through legal channels rather than social media.
