Jamie Foxx remains in the hospital after suffering a medical emergency, and now many projects are going to be filming without the beloved actor.

Jamie Foxx is leaving a big absence for his hosting duties on his show “Beat Shazam.” Nick Cannon hopes to fill in for Foxx while he remains hospitalized from a serious mystery condition. It’s Andy Lalwani reporting with all details.

TMZ has confirmed that Nick Cannon will, yes indeed, take over hosting the popular FOX show where contestants guess popular songs with lyrics across all sorts of genres.

The outlet also reported that Kelly Osbourne will be taking over as DJ for the show for Jamie’s Foxx’s daughter, Corrine, as she leaves temporarily to help with her dad’s recovery.

On a now deleted social media post, Kelly even shared a video from the DJ booth on the “Beat Shazam” set. Osbourne’s video features an emcee in the background with the studio audience excited for Nick Cannon. Kelly even posted a photo of the show’s rundown.

Since 2017, Jamie Foxx has been hosting and even serving as an executive producer. Daughter Corrine has even been a DJ on the show since 2018 working in the past four seasons with her father. The popular show was set to go into production just a few days after Jamie was initially hospitalized for what daughter Corinne described as a “medical complication” which has since been delayed.

Earlier in April, Jamie Foxx was in Atlanta working on the movie “Back in Action” when he fell ill. The series was scheduled to compete filming but was briefly suspended.

Parade Magazine previously reported that the star has been hospitalized but was “steadily improving.” Daughter Corrine previously stated “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.” She went on to add “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” going on to request privacy for herself, her father, and the rest of their family. “Much love, the Foxx family.”

Sources claim they are currently begging for prayers as Foxx has been in the hospital now for quite a few weeks.

A body double has been filling in for Foxx on set of “Back in Action” while the actor remains in Georgia. Foxx is now reportedly awake and alert, but there has not been any detail on to what exactly happened. Doctors are still running tests as well to figure out what happened.

And of course many celebrities have poured out with their comments as Foxx has been in the hospital for quite some time.

“Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon asked his fans to speak “words of affirmation” over Jamie Foxx as he continues to recover. Martin Lawrence also told the media that Foxx was “doing better” and called Foxx “one of the best that we got in Hollywood.” Even Kerry Washington posted a photo of the two of them after hearing about the news.

Even Lebron James and Viola Davis are wishing the actor as speedy and quick recovery and so are all of us. There has been no official word if the actor will need and physical therapy or if he will be going back to work anytime soon.
