Jamie Lee Curtis responded with a positive outlook after a paparazzi photo from the set of “Freakier Friday” surfaced online. The eagerly awaited sequel to the 2003 hit “Freaky Friday” recently concluded its production, and the leaked image shows Curtis and co-star Lindsay Lohan filming a beach scene.
On Instagram, Curtis embraced the intrusion of the paparazzi photo, using it as an opportunity to discuss the film. “Because other outlets have posted it, I am going to take advantage of the intrusion of a paparazzi picture into the creative process of filmmaking,” Curtis wrote. “We have tried so hard to keep our story a secret and private until it’s time for release, but once in a while an image comes out, and it doesn’t tell you anything about the story or about what’s going on with the characters. But it does show the joy and fun that we had making ‘Freakier Friday,’ and we know it will be the experience that you will have in the theaters next year.”

Curtis continued by highlighting the significance of movie theaters. “Yes, you heard me… The theaters,” she added. “The place we all go and enjoy a shared experience in the dark while munching popcorn and candy and laughing together and sometimes crying together. Until then.”
Lindsay Lohan also took to Instagram to express her excitement and gratitude following the end of filming. “My heart is so full,” Lohan wrote. “It’s been such a great time making this film. The wonderful cast, crew, and everyone from Disney Studios have invested so much time and love into making this movie! I’m so grateful to have made this film, a story of family, mothers, and their children and a film filled with love, laughter, and a ton of heart! It has been a pleasure to work with my dear friend Jamie Lee Curtis, who brings so much joy to our set every day and has made this all the more special!”
