Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce is opening up about a rather embarrassing moment from his time in the NFL — one that involved a “crappy” situation on the field.
On the Nov. 13 episode of the ‘New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce’ podcast, Jason, shared a hilarious story about pooping his pants while in uniform before a game. The confession came during a discussion about Detroit Lions linebacker James Houston, who recently went viral after fans noticed a suspicious stain on his white pants during a game on Nov. 10. Many believed the stain was the result of Houston experiencing an unfortunate accident on the field.
Jason jokingly commented, “This is why I hate white pants,” acknowledging the discomfort of playing in such a high-pressure environment while dressed in such a revealing uniform.
While Kelce admitted that he has been “lucky” enough never to have been caught on national television with an embarrassing stain, he shared that he, too, had once found himself in a similar predicament.
“You know, like when you shart and there’s a possibility something came out, but you’re not certain?” Jason asked his younger brother, Travis Kelce, 35, in reference to the moment before he realized the full extent of his situation.
Jason went on to recount the time he had a close call before a game and asked a teammate — whom he did not name — to check the back of his pants. “I was like, ‘Hey, can you check the back of my pants because I think I might have just s— myself.’ And he checks, and he says, ‘You’re good.’”
Spoiler alert: Jason was not, in fact, “good.”

Despite the initial reassurance, Jason continued with the story, explaining that he went through warm-ups as usual, hoping the situation would resolve itself. But as soon as the warm-up session concluded, he got some bad news from teammate Lane Johnson.
“Lane comes up to me after and he’s like, ‘Hey, you’ve got s— all up on your pants right now,’” Jason recalled, sharing a laugh with Travis. “It was disgusting,” he added, before revealing that he wasn’t the only player to have found themselves in this uncomfortable situation.
“I know many players that this has happened to,” Jason said, acknowledging that incidents like this are not as rare as some might think in the NFL.

He explained that NFL players exert a lot of physical effort on the field, which can sometimes lead to messy situations. “It’s a risky situation when you’re playing in white pants,” Jason joked, before offering his support to Houston.
“He has nothing to be ashamed of. I am here to have your back, James,” Jason said, showing empathy toward Houston, who had claimed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the stain on his pants was caused by sitting in spilled Gatorade. Jason, however, wasn’t convinced by that explanation.
“Come on, dude. Travis, you and I both know he ain’t sitting on no Gatorade,” Jason teased. “We all know what that is.”

Travis, who had been laughing along with his brother’s confession, quickly ended the conversation, joking, “Alright, I’m done talking about s—ting yourself,” before they moved on to a different topic.
