Actress and visual artist Julia Fox has rapidly branded herself as an emerging force to watch in pop culture. Fox famously dated rapper Kanye West shortly after his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Now, the actress is clearing up her thoughts on Kardashian, and had nothing but praise for her.
In a lie detector test style interview for Vanity Fair, Fox said that “I actually really love her. I grew up watching ‘Keeping Up With Kardashians’ and I actually liked it before they were even cool. When people would bash her I would always go to bat for her, and I thought she f**king killed it in ‘AHS’. She is a multi-talented queen.”
Fox famously starred as Julia de Fiore in A24’s “Uncut Gems.” The actress went on to make a name for herself in the art and avant garde high fashion world, carving out a unique niche for herself on TikTok. Her brutal honesty about her past as a dominatrix and coparenting with her ex husband continues to captivate audiences.
Fox previously attracted controversy for saying that she only dated West to “keep him off Kim’s case.” The actress and artist elaborated that “I thought ultimately I’d be helping a precarious situation, but I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized,” she explains. “I just felt like his little puppet.”
Social Media Reactions
Fans of both Kardashian and Fox were happy to see the latter speak positively of the longtime reality television personality.

That’s great to know. We all need to come out straight sometimes and say who inspired us instead of beefing with our motivators .

Others feel that Fox answered a question regarding Kardashian taking inspiration from her well. The actress claimed that a few of their recent looks have been vaguely similar, and that they both simply follow the latest trends in fashion.

Since Kardashian’s divorce from West and Fox’s breakup with him, the rapper has since married former architect and Yeezy executive Bianca Censori. Post-divorce, the rapper continues to engage in far-right rhetoric and antisemitic hate speech. Fox has previously spoken out on her desire to distance herself from him, as he began espousing these beliefs after their relationship had already ended and she does not agree with them.
Fox’s memoir “Down The Drain” is available for purchase now.
