Khloe Kardashian did not mess around when it came to changing her son’s name the Kardashian last name instead of Tristan Thompson’s, but it looks like there has been a major change.
Sources claim that Tatum Thompson, the son of the couple, was at birth known legally as a Kardashian. According to a source close to TMZ, Tatum was also not the initial first name, though it has not been revealed of what the initial name truly was.
As for why Kardashian left Thompson out of the initial name, it was due to Tristan getting another woman, Maralee Nichols, pregnant while the two were undergoing surrogacy.
The news broke of the surrogacy back in July of 2022 just a couple months after Tristan got another woman pregnant.
Reports have come in that things have gotten better between the couple, and Khloe revised the name to include Thompson instead.
As stated from What’s Trending in the past, Khloe and Tristan have been at multiple events together with their daughter True from her pre-k graduation to even a birthday party.
The couple have continued to avoid comments to the press, and Khloe Kardashian got emotional in the latest season of The Kardashians on Hulu about the scandal.

Comments from fans online claim the reality star has not been open about the situation with her baby daddy, but she argues otherwise.
None of the family have commented about the ongoing relationship between Thompson or Kardashian but seem to be supportive.
Kim Kardashian even went to a Lakers game to support the athlete.
Khloe has not made any comment on social media on the legal change.
