Kim Kardashian shared a photo online and then quickly took the post down after the experienced what seemed to be a wardrobe malfunction.
Earlier this week, the 42-year-old reality star posted a carousel of photos of herself wearing a taupe two-piece set while sitting on the couch with what appears to be a friend.
“Love finding old photos on my phone,” she wrote in the caption.
Yet, the star’s shapewear was not fully covered due to the high slit in her skirt, revealing the sheer capri undergarments as she sat.
“She’s working those Skims y’all,” one person wrote alongside a zoomed-in photo of the shapewear.
“Ha ha ha you can see the shapewear peeking out on her leg!” another added, while a third noted that it looked like the reality TV star “edited half of her face.”
Rather than take the moment to promote Skims, the star ended up scrubbing the post from her feed.
Some others claimed that the star appeared darker than usual in the photos.
“She genuinely looks like a WOC. She needs to stop this s—t. It’s f—king deranged,” one user replied.
“Ngl she looks great but also omg imagine just changing into a POC for clout when you want then switching back to white-passing when you’re bored of it lmaoo,” wrote another.
Kim was previously accused of intentionally appropriating black culture with her fashion and beauty choices, and some wondered if that was another reason the star took down the post.
Back in 2021, The Kardashians star spoke out about styling her waist-length braids and cornrows for years.
In the interview with i-D magazine, Kardashian claimed that she would wear her hair in certain styles to appease her daughter North and Kanye West.
“Obviously, I would never do anything to appropriate any culture. But I have in the past got backlash from putting my hair in braids and I understand that,” Kardashian said at the time.
“Honestly, a lot of the time it comes from my daughter asking us to do matching hair,” the mom of four continued.
“And I’ve had these conversations with her that are like, ‘Hey, maybe this hairstyle would be better on you and not on me.’”
There is no official word as to why the photos were scrubbed but fans will continue to theorize.
