Kim Kardashian just revealed to everyone why her and Pete Davidson didn’t work out in the season premiere of The Kardashians. The breakup that happened quite some time ago is now getting the answers many were asking for.
The SKIMS founder addressed her breakup with the former Saturday Night Live cast member on the season three premiere of The Kardashians. In the season Kim states, “Okay, I’m single. I’m single and I’m not ready to mingle and that’s okay.”
In the Episode, Scott Disick asks Kim how she feels about about the split given that it’s her first major breakup since her divorce from Kanye West. Without spilling too much, Kim stated “Breakups are just not my thing… I’m proud of myself.”
Kim Also went on to admit, “We just had talks and talks, we had been talking about it. So it was both of us just communicating really well about it. It’s obviously sad.”
The 42-year-old mother went on to admit that she is also not into “random hookups” and prefers to be in long term relationships. Pete Davidson and Kardashian were together for nearly nine-months.
Kim also went on to say in the episode reference a lot of comments made by former husband Kanye West on her relationship with Pete Davidson.
Kardashian stated ‘There was a lot of guilt. He went through a lot because of my relationship.

In one of the confessional interviews, Kim Kardashian admitted that she at times also has concerns about looking for a future partner in life. The star admitted that she has a lot to work with being a very popular woman in the limelight having four children and being in her 40s.
At the time of the breakup, Kim and Pete told E! News that they had “a lot of love and respect for each other” but their long distance relationship with Pete filming the movie Wizards! In Australia at the time caused complications. Sources confirmed that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian were dating back in 2021 after the star hosted Saturday Night Live and broke up in August of 2022.
One insider claimed at the time, “Pete has told her he doesn’t want to see anyone else. […] Kim is telling some people they aren’t super serious, but she isn’t seeing anyone else… She’s trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him.”
In an interview with the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, the reality star even shared that sparks flew when she first kissed the King of Staten Island actor while hosting Saturday Night Live back in October of 2021.
“It was a stage kiss, but it was still a little zing,” Kim said. “It wasn’t anything like a super, crazy feeling.” Kardashian even admitted to how great Davidson was in the first season of The Kardashians claiming he was the ‘best human’ she had ever met.
In their relationship, the two made their appearance on the Met Gala carpet and had many wondering what was to come next. Yet, since the split, Kardashian claims she is ‘not looking’ and just wants to ‘chill for a minute.’
