Lenny Kravitz is officially a Ken. Mattel unveiled the Barbie Signature Kenbassadors Lenny Kravitz Collectible Doll on Thursday, making the rocker only the second honoree in a collection the brand launched last year to recognize men with outsized cultural influence. LeBron James was the first, with a doll that dropped in 2025 and sold out at retail.
The $70 figure pulls from Kravitz’s Blue Electric Light Tour look, including a bronze mesh cowl-neck tank, boot-cut jeans, a studded belt, boots, sunglasses and his trademark locs. Mattel went deep on the details, down to the tattoo of his late mother, Roxie Roker, on his forearm. It’s available online through Mattel Creations and major retailers.
Kravitz, 62, called the honor “an honor and absolutely surreal” and said he grew up around Barbies and Kens without imagining he would ever get one. He plans to send his daughter, Zoë Kravitz, a doll himself.
The drop lands as Barbie marks Ken’s 65th anniversary. Nathan Baynard, vice president and head of Barbie at Mattel, pointed to “his genre-defying music to his fearless approach to personal style” as the reason for the pick.
