From then on, there have been viral videos on TikTok of students protesting the fraternity itself to be removed and for Max Helm to be held responsible for his actions against this young girl. Reportedly, Max Helm raped the 17-year old girl during a party held at the University of Nebraska- London campus. Leaving her to fend for herself, bloody and naked on the campus lawn. The young girl is now in a hospital getting the right care she needs.

College campuses are frequent places where rape and sexual assault happens, where it is meant to be a place for new beginnings and finding out who you are as a person. Instead, according to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), “13% of all students experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation (among all graduate and undergraduate students).”
