Apple TV+ has officially renewed the comedy series “Loot” for a third season, continuing its collaboration with star Maya Rudolph and executive producer Danielle Renfrew Behrens of Banana Split Productions. The announcement comes after the second season of the show premiered on April 3, wrapping up with its season finale on May 29.
Expressing their enthusiasm for the renewal, Rudolph and Renfrew Behrens commented, “We are thrilled to come back for a third season! In “Loot,” Maya Rudolph portrays Molly Wells, who finds herself navigating life after finalizing her divorce from a tech billionaire. As one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, Molly redirects her focus towards managing a foundation she had previously forgotten about.
The series has garnered praise not only for Rudolph’s performance but also for its ensemble cast, which includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, Joel Kim Booster, and a roster of notable guest stars like O-T Fagbenle, Benjamin Bratt, and Ana Gasteyer.
