Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly made their first appearance at the Sports Illustrated party for the latest cover shoot with the actress, but the two have a long way to go back on as an official couple.

The covers of Sports Illustrated have featured many talents, and now Megan Fox graces the cover of the latest issue.

A source told PEOPLE “they are slowly working on reconciling but he’s totally in the dog house still,” the source says about MGK. The two did not walk the red carpet together but Kelly seemed to support his fiance at the event otherwise.

“He’s doing whatever he can to get her back, and she’s making him work for it. It’s still an unhealthy dynamic though, and their friends just don’t see this lasting.”

According to reports, the wedding plans still “remains halted” according to the source. “He has a lot of proving himself to do, and he doesn’t want to give her up. He is great with her kids and super hands on. It’s a work in progress,” the source adds.

The two have been in the headlines lately after Machine Gun Kelly aimed a diss track at Eminem. The two have had a feud for quite a few years after the infamous comments made on Twitter about Eminem’s young daughter.

Megan Fox nor Machine Gun Kelly’s reps have commented on the relationship.
