Megan Fox is opening up about the status of her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly.

During a Tuesday appearance of Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the “Pretty Boys are Poisonous” author addressed the speculation surrounding her engagement with MGK.

Cooper told Fox, “(You both) got engaged, then I think it was called off,” to which Fox confirmed, “All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred.”

“I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption, so I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se,” Fox told Cooper. “What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him no matter what.”

Fox and MGK, also known as Colson Baker, announced their engagement on social media in January 2022 after roughly a year and a half of dating.

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him, and just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,” Fox wrote in an Instagram caption, adding, “We drank each other’s blood.”

In February 2023, the couple sparked breakup rumors when Fox deleted photos of the couple on Instagram and began sharing cryptic posts. The couple seemed to move past the rough patch and have since been spotted a few times together in public.

As of late, the couple was photographed at a Super Bowl afterparty in February with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

During Tuesday’s episode of “Call Her Daddy,” Fox said she plans to keep their relationship moves private and can’t say what the “capacity” of their relationship will be, but that the pair will “always be connected.”
