Melanie Brown, known to fans as Mel B or Scary Spice, is making headlines with her candid remarks in an upcoming episode of the British game show Never Mind the Buzzcocks. The episode, airing on October 30, features Brown, 49, as a guest captain, where she reportedly did not shy away from taking playful jabs at her former Spice Girls bandmates regarding a possible reunion tour.

Her response was both humorous and pointed, reflecting her straightforward personality. “Because I’m Northern and say what I think and feel, and I’m constantly saying to the girls, ‘We need to go back on tour,'” she said, according to The Sun.

When pressed further about why she was “ditched” from the chat, Brown jokingly replied, “Because they’re d—heads.” This candid humor has become a hallmark of Brown’s personality, and her remarks are likely to spark conversation among fans and media alike. Representatives for Brown have not yet responded to requests for comment from PEOPLE magazine.

The original Spice Girls lineup, which includes Brown, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, and Victoria Beckham, was last seen together celebrating Beckham’s milestone 50th birthday in April. The celebration took place at a lavish party in London, where the group shared nostalgic moments that fans cherished.

Cruz Beckham, Victoria’s son, offered fans a glimpse into the festivities by posting a video of the Spice Girls performing their classic 1996 hit “Mama.” Accompanied by Cruz on acoustic guitar, the group’s performance was a heartfelt reminder of their enduring legacy. In a lighthearted moment captured on video, Brown humorously asked the audience, “Are we in tune? I’m not sure we are!” as guests cheered on their iconic reunion.

Later in the evening, the Spice Girls showcased their dance moves to their 1997 single “Stop,” a performance documented by Victoria’s husband, David Beckham. The couple shared snippets of the fun on Instagram, with Victoria captioning the post, “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.” David also expressed his enthusiasm for the night, tagging each of the Spice Girls and adding colorful heart emojis in his post.
