  • This shocking ad comes to us straight from China, and it’s easily one of the most racist things we’ve seen all year!

The ad is for a brand of Chinese detergent named Qiaobi, and it depicts a black painter hitting on a Chinese woman doing laundry. What’s a girl to do? How about pop a detergent pack in the mans mouth and shove him into the washing machine!

Of course, the man that comes out is no longer black, but a nerdy Chinese guy. Get it? The detergent made him clean!

What the in the bloody hell were they thinking?! The ad initially aired on Chinese television before being picked up by the internet for all to see (and judge). Now, this isn’t new. China hasn’t been progressive about race ever, as a matter of fact, The original poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was actually edited to make Finn look smaller in efforts to keep Chinese audiences interest in the film.

It’s also been pointed out that the ad is a complete rip-off of an ad from Italy, where the opposite happens (an Italian man becomes a black man).

On top of that, the Chinese beauty market is flooded with all sorts of products to “lighten the skin.”

Do you think the ad is racist? Let us know in the comments down below!
