Swift has not commented on the “1989” rumors, but fans suspect big news is on the way, as she changed all of her social media profiles back to the “Midnights” album cover. The images previously depicted the recently released “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” cover.
The singer has three albums left to re-record, “1989”, “Reputation”, and “Taylor Swift.” The singer began the arduous process of re-recording all of her original masters created pre-2019 when music tycoon Scooter Braun purchased them without her consent. Thus far, Swift has re-released “Red,” “Fearless,”and “Speak Now.” The latter was announced live at the singer’s Nashville stop on “The Eras Tour.”
In honor of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”, the singer even brought out an iconic artifact from the album’s original 2010 release–the blue koi fish guitar she played on the “Speak Now” tour. The surprise live announcement has fans hoping that Swift will leave the U.S. leg of the tour with a bang.
