The 24-year-old British artist — real name Victoria Walker — made history at the 2026 BRIT Awards, becoming the first woman and youngest person ever to win Producer of the Year. The award, which has been handed out since 1977, has never once gone to a woman in its nearly 50-year history. Until now.
PinkPantheress beat the previous youngest-winner record held by Steve Levine, who was 25 at the time of his win. Past recipients include heavyweights like Brian Eno, Calvin Harris, and A.G. Cook — the producer behind Charli xcx’s brat.
In addition to Producer of the Year, she’s also nominated for Artist of the Year and Best Dance Act at the ceremony, taking place Saturday at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena.
The win caps off a massive year for PinkPantheress. Her 2025 mixtape Fancy That featured viral hits “Illegal” and “Stateside,” and she scored two Grammy nominations earlier this year.
“My music production is the thing I’m proudest of, and I’ve worked really hard at it, so I hope this inspires others to pursue their passion,” PinkPantheress said in her statement.
