Babs Made Her First Appearance On ‘The Tonight Show’ In 50 years
Barbra Streisand made her first late night TV appearance in 50 years on a Tonight Show entirely dedicated to the icon.
During the interview portion of the show, Fallon insisted that Streisand take his spot behind the desk saying that she is “one of the biggest stars in show business.” She accepted and replied with “I probably couldn’t pull off another five-decade wait.”
Throughout the show, the star discussed her new duets album, Partners. Streisand performed a medley of songs from her new album with Fallon, who added his own personality to the performance. The 72-year-old superstar’s new album includes duets with Blake Shelton, Stevie Wonder and Elvis Presley.
