This Wonderful Dork Turned A Drone Into The Millennium Falcon
It was every dorky kid’s dream to fly the Millennium Falcon. One dorky kid grew up into an incredibly skilled dorky man, and he built his own. YouTube user Olivier C turned a quadricopter drone into a scaled-down, but very accurate, Millennium Falcon.
Olivier C not only built the Falcon, but posted detailed instructions on how to do it oneself on the forum site RCGroups.com.
In case you’re wondering about the technical aspects of the drone, here they are, from the video description. (Note: I have no idea what any of this means, so this is for the drone hobbyists out there. The Dronies, if you will.)
