X-Men Fans Are Emotional AF Over the ‘Logan’ Trailer

In the tenth X-Men installment, Hugh Jackman returns to the big screen for his last portrayal of the fan favorite character, Wolverine. It’s been a good year for X-Men, remember Sophie Turner kicking ass in the last movie, X-Men Apocalypse? Yeah, you definitely do.

Logan takes place in tumultuous 2024. With age, Wolverine’s healing powers are slowing and Professor Charles Xavier has developed Alzheimers. Xavier and Logan (Wolverine) are dealing with the loss of the X-Men at the hands of a corporation by Nathaniel Essex, a man Logan is determined to defeat with the help of a new friend. You MIGHT have noticed the badass young girl fighting alongside Wolverine. The character’s name is Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine, who has two claws on each hand instead of three. In 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, and people (including Xavier) aren’t really sure why. A government-type operation is turning mutant children into killing machines, kind of like what happened to Logan way back when. Because of this, Logan becomes a mentor to Laura, who will become his successor. Needless to say, fans are pretty effing excited about it.
