Priscilla Presley was reportedly denied the burial plot next to her late ex-husband Elvis Presley in the settlement regarding her late daughter’s trust. Following the sudden passing of musician Lisa Marie Presley, her daughter Riley Keough and her mother Priscilla found themselves in a complex legal battle. Allegations of a feud among the family began swirling immediately after the funeral for the late Presley was held at the iconic Graceland estate. Lisa Marie was notably the only child of Priscilla and the late Elvis Presley.
Priscilla Presley reportedly told People, “My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie’s untimely passing.” She also shut down the long held rumor that she sued Keough over the trust. “Although some media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter.”
The biggest bombshell to come out of the settlement was that Priscilla was cut out of her one wish.
Why Priscilla Will Not Be Buried Next To Elvis
Elvis is currently buried between his parents. Had her request been approved, one of his parents would have been moved. Allegedly, her request was also denied due to her prior divorce from the late singer. Even after their divorce, the pair remained in each other’s lives. Fans of the late Elvis are weighing in on social media, with many feeling that Priscilla should have the spot.
Yes. They belong together.

The family plot at Graceland was notably what kept the settlement in court for several months. The late Lisa Marie is survived by her daughters Riley Keough, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, and Harper Vivienne Anne Lockwood, and Keough’s daughter, born in 2022. An alternative burial plot for Priscilla is yet to be confirmed.
