Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, Princess Lilbet, has been the talk of the town since her father missed his first date in court for her birthday.

The general public claims the young one was snubbed this year after all the royals went silent about the special occasion on social media.

Last year, royal family members King Charles, Queen Camila, and the Prince and Princess of Wales were a part of the festivities for young Lilibet on her first birthday.

And as of this year, all of the Royal Family members were silent on social media when it came to Lilibet’s recent birthday.

Many pointed out how Queen Elizabeth was wishing a happy 1st birthday back in 2022 on her social media accounts just shortly before passing at the age of 96.

Royals like now-King Charles, Prince William, and William’s wife, Kate Middleton, all shared their well-wishes for the young one last year as well, but not this time around.

Many tabloids reported on the social media scandal including Page Six, to which some people commented things like “What’s wrong with these people! How awful to treat one of your grandchildren like that,” to even  “Family is Family. Treat each other with respect and screw the Royal Procedures. SMH!”

However, some others claimed that they were not upset with the royals. Other comments pointed to the media making a story out of nothing, with others claimed the family may have done something offline instead.

One royal source actually commented on the situation with the Daily Beast claiming that it has “never been protocol” to actually share formal birthday wishes for non-working members.

Yet, this goes against the recent precedent established by Queen Elizabeth last year, leading some to believe that there is major tension within the family since Harry and Meghan left the UK.

Some also believe the family are not on the best speaking terms since the controversial memoir, Spare, was published quite recently.

Despite the unfortunate situation of the current trial against Mirror Group Network landing on the same day as the young child’s birthday, parents Harry and Meghan allegedly worked very hard to make it a very special day. Prince Harry actually missed the first day of the trial to be with his daughter.

Royal expert Jennie Bond actually claimed to OK! Magazine UK ahead of the birthday claiming  “I would expect to see a sprinkling of celebrities and a laid-back party, which hopefully will include some other toddlers.”

According to sources, King Charles really made efforts for the birthday despite the lack of social media presence, and had aides look into “custom-made cubby houses” for the toddler. This was something strikingly similar to what Queen Elizabeth and and Princess Margaret played in as children.

According to sources, King Charles far from forgot about the birthday in real life and Prince Harry warned his father to “be less extravagant” for some of the arrangements.

There is no word on any other details of the event or if any other royal family members celebrated offline.
