RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jimbo is set to embark on one massive tour following her RPDR All Stars win, and it will be something to remember.

Sitting down with What’s Trending, the queen detailed her upcoming 57-stop tour across North American and the work that went behind it.

First appearing on Canada’s Drag Race in 2020 where she became a fan favorite and winning Snatch Game as Joan Rivers, Jimbo says she has been preparing for this for quite some time.

The former ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. The World’ alum stated, I have been preparing for this basically my whole life, but specifically for the past 20 years I’ve been working my little butt off working in film and working in theater. And I’ve just been really trying to elevate and be a storyteller on a big scale. And this is my opportunity to do that.”

She went on to add, “I have this incredible platform and I have this sort of a breadth of work now through three seasons of Drag Race where I’ve been able to connect with my fans and show them my brand of weirdness and drag. So this show I’ve been preparing specifically for about a year and a half, writing and working on that.”

Jimbo, who was also a fan favorite on the UK spinoff, was eliminated on the third episode of the series in what fans deem as one of the most ‘controversial moments’ in RPDR herstory. Yet, the queen was able to take home the crown in the eighth season of All Stars where she was a front-runner and even winning a record tying four challenges.

Bringing characters like Shirley Temple to the iconic series, Jimbo says these characters will indeed be making a return to tour.

“I play six characters and some of them are from my time on Drag Race where the people like them, like the Shirley Temple and Joan Rivers and my Bologna Ghost,” the winner stated.

The queen also went on to add, “I’ve just been in a rehearsal period for the past month and a half where we’ve been doing choreo and writing and working on the music. Yeah, so it’s been a long time dream and been a lot of work to get here, but it’s really exciting.”

“Jimbo’s Drag Circus” embarks on 37 U.S. cities and 20 Canadian ones beginning on February 29 in Royal Oak, Michigan. And of course, Jimbo will be bringing nothing but top notch glam to the tour.

In regards to inspiration for drag and thus tour, Jimbo mentions, “I like being sparkly. I like being sexy, and I like to just have fun with fashion and clothes and costumes. So I am just really excited to, I love the circus aesthetic, and I’m a clown and I’m a little bit of a weirdo, so I feel like there’s a lot in that aesthetic. And my inspirations are really varied.”

She also goes on to mention, “I love switching through drag as much as I love switching through genres and aesthetics of music. It’s mostly about what kind of feeling am I wanting to convey in that moment.”
