Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas met none other than Ru Paul’s Drag Race Queen Priyanka for the very first time on the set of Citadel, and it surely was an exchange that many had hoped for. But the RPDR queen said it had her more nervous than she’s ever been.
Priyanka from RPDR has been a fan favorite for quite some time. Many viewers from the popular franchise have been hoping for an exchange with none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas and it finally happened this year.
The “Citadel” actress has actually been a long time fan of the Canada’s Drag Race season one winner. In addition, the “Exotic” singer has been vocal about supporting the LGBTQ+ community for quite some time and breaking the stigmas surrounding queer people. When Priyanka from Canada’s Drag Race stepped into the scene, it was an entrance that surely caught her eye.
This all started when Queen Priyanka, whose real name is Mark Suknanan, was featured on the cover of an issue of Elle Canada.
In the photo shoot, the queen can be seen wearing a flowy orange Gucci dress with her hair parted and the middle sporting nude-toned makeup. Queen Priyanka was the first drag queen to have a solo cover on the magazine’s 45 editions from all around the world.
And actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Instagram to share the post.
She gave a shoutout to Priyanka’s look on social saying “looking absolutely stunning” and even tagged the Canadian queen on Instagram Stories.

However, even after the 2021 Elle interaction, the two never met until recently at the premiere of Citadel on Amazon Prime.
Yes that’s right, the two south-asian stars had the chance to meet during the press junket for the Amazon series where Canada’s Drag Race Priyanka actually interviewed Priyanka Chopra-Jonas. And in an interview with What’s Trending, Priyanka called this moment something she will never forget.
Not only that, but the Canada’s Drag Race star claimed that the interaction had her nervous as ever.
And aside from meeting Priyanka, the queen admitted that performing alongside the Teletubbies at RPDR Dragcon was even more nerve wracking than interviewing Pryanka Chopra.
At the convention, the Canadian star got a chance to do a number with the iconic childhood characters at the event. Debuting a few looks inspired by the Teletubbies, Priyanka truly delivered.
