Once again, the internet pins women against each other. Ever since Justin and Hailey Bieber married, which some thought was too soon after Justin and Selena Gomez split, fans speculate a hatred between the two of them. Although neither of them has ever said there was a dispute between the two, and no evidence directly points to this, fans of both women believe that they are attacking each other. So, when some thought Gomez was shading Hailey, Gomez had to apologize for the miscommunication. After posting a skincare routine on TikTok, some speculated that she was mocking Hailey, who had also posted a video of her getting ready a few days ago.

Although Gomez’s video does not mention or even reference Hailey’s video, some thought that she was mocking her anyway. Although the comments are now turned off, she wrote on TikTok saying “This is why I believe in taking care of your mental health. Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention. Deleting soon.” But, after seeing the videos together, many could not see why she was being accused of this.

“Selena was just nominated for a grammy, is hosting SNL this weekend, has a beauty line that’s sold out everywhere, launched a business dedicated to mental health, and is a part of the most critically acclaimed show on Hulu. I promise the last thing on her mind is her ex’s wife,” one fan wrote online. “I see nothing wrong with the video, people always trained celebrities to feel sorry about nothing.” This seemed to be a shared sentiment online, as people could not understand what the issue was. Although some might have found it odd that she posted a skincare routine after Hailey’s video, others said that she was just showing her skincare routine since she has a beauty brand.
