Though the exact reason for the split has been unclear, TMZ alleged that the couple filed for divorce due to Asghari’s claim of cheating by his wife. A source later denied that infidelity was the allegation.
Reports had not been confirmed about the cheating, but there have been plenty of inside sources speaking out to suggest that the pair were not seeing eye to eye as of late.
A source told People Magazine, “It’s been very toxic for a long time. There has been constant drama. It’s sad.”
