Released earlier today as a surprise, the trailer for the newest Batman movie, entitled The Batman, has many on Twitter thrilled. Batman, played by Robert Pattinson, will team up with Catwoman, played by Zoë Kravitz. The two will be trying to defeat the Riddler, played by Paul Dano, as introduced in the trailer. Some felt that they would not be excited about this new movie but immediately took it back after seeing the trailer.

After the trailer was dropped as a surprise earlier today, #Batman began trending on Twitter and steadily trended number four in entertainment. Many were excited to see the trailer and anticipated the film even more after watching the trailer.

Not only were many excited for the film’s plotline, but many also commented on the cinematography of the film, noticing how meticulous each shot was or the atmosphere within the movie.

When it was first announced that Pattinson would be playing Batman, many were concerned and did not feel as if he was a suitable or good choice to play the role. However, many still supported the film and were excited to see how he would execute it. From the trailer, it looks like the director made a great choice choosing Pattinson, as many noted on Twitter.

Twitter was also stoked to see that Catwoman would not only be in the film but seemed she would be in a large portion of the film and were excited to see the two characters interact. Many also made jokes about Kravitz’s role as Selina Kyle, as she is stunning, and how they would be unable to fight crime if they were Batman with Catwoman.

The film is set to be released March 4th, 2022, which Twitter noted feels like an incredibly long wait from now, but here’s to hoping time will fly by!
