Oren Rosenbaum has closed deals for Barstool Sports, Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network and Ashley Flowers’ Crime Junkie. Now he’s bringing that view of the creator business to AI Creator Day.
The UTA Partner and Co-Head of Creators joins a fresh round of speakers for the inaugural event from TheWrap and What’s Trending, which kicks off TheGrill, TheWrap’s flagship business and technology conference, on Sept. 29 at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles.
Rosenbaum’s session digs into the agency side of building creator businesses: spotting talent with staying power, structuring deals that scale and figuring out what agencies actually look for in the next wave of creators. He’ll also get into how AI is changing the way creators build, monetize and grow.
Brand-creator partnerships get their own panel too. Don Allen III, a creative technologist who leads the A.R.T. Department at Asteria Studio and advises Meta’s Ray-Ban hardware division, joins Jenny Stojkovic, General Partner of Joyful Ventures, to talk through what brand deals look like when the work is AI-made. Paige Piskin, the AR creator behind 300-plus filters for major beauty brands, moderates.
A third session pulls back the curtain on process. Jagger Waters, Verena Puhm and Chris Capel will each walk through a finished AI project, breaking down how a small team pulled it off. Waters has built AI-driven video work recognized by Sundance and SXSW. Puhm runs Matriarch, an AI-native studio building IP for Hollywood studios. Capel, a comedy director with credits for Lego and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, treats generative AI as a tool for fast-tracking jokes rather than replacing the writing.
Organizers say more speakers, partners and programming are still to come. Tickets for TheGrill on Sept. 30 are on sale now, with WrapPRO subscribers getting 30% off.
