Theorist announced Creators in Fashion, a first-of-its-kind fashion show that expands the way creators and fans can authentically connect through an integrated live, virtual, and interactive experience.

Presented by the hugely popular Style Theory channel (2.5M+ subscribers) on April 25, 2024, Creators in Fashion celebrates uniquely designed ready-to-wear fashion collections from some of the world’s most iconic creators, including multi-platform entertainment brand Critical Role, graphic artist ZHC, POPFLEX and Blogilates founder Cassey Ho, and adventure enthusiast Yes Theory, with more to be revealed on the runway.

Theorist Co-founder MatPat stated, “With Creators in Fashion, Theorist is expanding beyond our typical programming to provide a platform to highlight great creator work in fashion.”

He went on to add, “Creators’ audiences will have an amazing opportunity to see and engage with that work in a new way, and the fashion industry will see first-hand, the incredible future of this growing, influential sector.”

Co-hosted by YouTube pioneer MatPat and Style Theory’s Amy Roberts, Creators in Fashion will feature the live runway debuts of creators’ spring/summer 2024 lines, to be simulcast for free on Theorist’s Style Theory and Game Theory channels as well as some participating creators’ YouTube channels. It will also feature backstage creator interviews, commentary from special guests, behind-the-scenes moments, big reveals, and live interactive sales, making it possible for fans to immediately purchase their favorite items.

“Creators in Fashion is going to be unlike any other fashion show event ever produced,” said Amy Roberts. “From the start it was critical to us that fans be at the core of the show. We can’t wait to bring them into the experience and hear their real-time reactions to what the creators spotlight.”

Throughout Creators in Fashion, viewers can expect fun, in-depth analysis—a trademark of Style Theory, which delves into the science, mysteries and myths of beauty and fashion—as well as a bevy of surprises, including a must-see sneak peek at the future of the ‘fans meet creator fashion’ space from Theorist, which will close the show.

“When we first started creating clothing at Critical Role, I honestly focused mostly on designs and items that I would be most excited about wearing,” said Laura Bailey, co-founder and cast member at Critical Role. “But what’s been so amazing is seeing our audience grow and embrace the ability to express themselves and their passions through our pieces. Over the years, we’ve evolved our designs to embrace that. Fashion is one of the most functional and immediate ways to convey your personal mood and interest. It’s been incredible to be able to facilitate that self-expression for our fans and we look forward to showing our latest looks to them at Creators in Fashion.”

“I’m super excited to participate in Creators in Fashion. Not only is it the first fashion show I’ve been a part of, but the first runway to preview my new brand, A Baana Club. I can’t wait to show the world the cool pieces I’ve been working on,” said ZHC.

“I’ve never seen a fashion show dedicated to just creators. I’m excited POPFLEX will be walking the runway alongside other brands built by people who have nurtured massive communities!” said Cassey Ho.
