In a viral TikTok that is now drawing concern to FedEx and their delivery drivers, a driver is seen tossing a package to the door, instead of setting it down. When the TikToker opened her package, her mugs were completely broken and shattered, unsurprisingly. This video was captured from Ring doorbells, which record the front door so people can monitor visitors and those who come to their driveway. However, many people do not seem to remember it is possible that doorbells can now record, and that the man who threw the package would then go viral.

When the creator, @souplovesouplife, found her package completely broken, she posted the remnants of her mugs and noted that the man threw it, even though it had four fragile stickers. Even so, many were under the opinion that even if your items are not fragile, they probably should not be tossed without care. And of course, many people wanted to see the footage of the mugs being tossed, which the creator posted soon after her video went viral.

In a follow-up comment pinned to their original TikTok, the creator notes that “they were individually wrapped and had way more support that’s not in the video, the packaging was good.” Though some people did not blame the driver, stating that the items could have been broken before arrival, many still reiterated that drivers should care for the packages and not toss them, as you never know what might be in them. However, others were in the complete opposite opinion, stating that the driver should now be fired. The creator noted that she was working to have this be done, and her father even went to sit down at the distribution center.

Overall, many had seemed to share the same horror stories of FedEx drivers, but many drivers noted that FedEx prefers numbers over quality and that it seems to be an overall problem from FedEx. Hopefully, with these stories being spread, it will be less of a problem, and with the increase of awareness with Ring Doorbells.
