The relationship began in the summer of 2023, after Kelce mentioned Swift on his New Heights podcast, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce. He talked about a failed attempt to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number at her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City.
Swift later confirmed they started dating shortly after that podcast aired. “He was standing outside of my apartment, holding a boom box, saying, ‘I want to go on a date with you,’” she said in an August 2025 podcast appearance. “This podcast got me a boyfriend.”

Since going public in September 2023, Swift became a regular in NFL stadiums, while Kelce made appearances at Eras Tour shows—including a surprise cameo onstage during a 2024 London performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
