On this week’s episode of “New Heights”, NFL Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce talked all things Christmas. The former Kelce recently unwittingly had his tweets from the early 2000s resurface amid his relationship with Grammy winner Taylor Swift, and the wholesome tweets revealed just how much he loves the holiday season. The Chiefs hit Arrowhead stadium on Christmas Day with Swift in attendance, repping Kelce with a santa hat featuring his jersey number 87. Now, Kelce revealed that Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, gifted him a piece of childhood nostalgia for Christmas.

Austin Swift is an actor and producer who studied film at Notre Dame University. Naturally, he gifted Kelce a vintage VHS copy of his favorite football film of all time, “Little Giants.” Kelce recounted Swift taking it out of his “santa sack” of gifts on Christmas. Jason and Kylie Kelce were amazed by the personal gift.

Fans of Swift and Kelce were happy to see that Kelce appears to be earning the Swift family’s stamp of approval lately. Recently, when Swift played a series of “The Eras Tour” shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Kelce and her father Scott Swift were spotted enjoying the music together in the VIP tent, where Mr. Swift donned a Chiefs lanyard. The gesture was seen by some fans as a show of friendship, as Swift senior is from the Philadelphia area and has previously admitted to being an Eagles fan.

Now, fans of the high profile couple continue to cheer them on from the sidelines.

The singer recently confirmed her relationship with Kelce in her TIME person of the year interview, where she spoke on the nature of their connection. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift said. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

The tight end first made a move when he famously revealed on his “New Heights” podcast that he fumbled an attempt to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. The attempt was made when Swift took over his usual home base of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Ever since then, Swift confirmed that the couple had begun getting to know each other and spending time together, and by the time she attended a Chiefs game in September they were officially a couple.

Swift resumes her “The Eras Tour” in 2024.
