The YouTube Creator Community Responds to the Election

After last night’s tough election, YouTube creators have started responding. Their reactions have been mixtures of horror and hope. Just like the country. Read our response to Trump’s election here.

According to Tubefilter, Tyler Oakley, Gigi Gorgeous, Casey Neistat, Hannah Hart, PewDiePie, and others have all reacted. Their words have been mostly of disbelief and shock, though some, like Casey Neistat, have reacted the opposite way.

In a country now firmly split, it’s hard not to react this way. With all the numbers wrong, all the pollsters inaccurate, it’s hard to tell what happened.

Luckily, many of these creators are reacting in human ways. They are reacting with a level of hope, that maybe we’ll get out okay. And perhaps that’s what we need now. That hope.
