Tristan Thompson officially arrived at the extravagant 5th birthday party for his daughter True and was welcomed with open arms by Khloé Kardashian. Many fans noticed the NBA player from the background of a video from Malika Haqq via Instagram.
Users online noticed the serial cheater in the background of Haqq’s story with Kris Jenner front and center. The photo praised Jenner of being the “best godmother” to her son, Ace. Behind stood the 32-year-old athlete wearing a white sweatsuit with matching sneakers and sunglasses.
Kim Kardashian was seen in the distance chatting with Scott Disick. Many online thought this was an upsetting sight to see while others on Reddit praised Thompson for showing up to the party.
“[True’s] feelings about her dad are really important and she probably wants him there,” one wrote. Another added, “No matter what a POS he is he is still the father and should be there. It’s about the children, not the adults.”
Thompson and Kardashian have had their ups and downs after many of the cheating scandals in their time together. The couple began dating in early 2016, shortly after Thompson welcomed Price with his ex Jordan Craig.

The two welcomed True into the world back in 2018 with many cheating scandals both before and after her birth. Back in 2021, the couple were back together and conceived another baby via surrogate. Shortly afterward, news broke that Thompson had fathered another child with Maralee Nichols but tried to keep it out of plain sight.
Many fans saw the aftermath in Season 2 of “The Kardashians” on Hulu back in June of 2022.
Kardashian and Thompson have been co-parenting since the season and recently reunited to attend the basketball star’s mother’s funeral.
Back in November of 2022, Kardashian would not allow Thompson to pay for a party for True telling Jenner at the time that she works “really hard to do elaborate things … without anyone’s help.”
