Fans were absolutely thrilled when pop star Britney Spears announced she is pregnant with her third child in an Instagram post yesterday. It also seems that she and her long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari got married secretly, as she referred to him as her “husband.” In the post, she says that she took a pregnancy test after gaining some weight and feeling suspicious, and it turns out she was pregnant, making her immediately trend on Twitter. Spears, who recently was released from her 13-year long conservatorship, was not able to get her IUD removed after the people who managed her would not allow it.

Twitter’s reaction

After Spears’ post came out, many began celebrating Britney’s third child. Many rallied behind Spears during the days of her trying to fight for her conservatorship, and were also incredibly excited once she was free. Now, Twitter celebrates her in the same way, as it is more proof that she is fully in control of her life and making decisions that make her feel the best, which was what many wanted when she was fighting for her freedom.

Many also pointed out the fact that she released this news on the 22nd anniversary of her hit album “Oops! I Did it Again.” Many found this iconic and a fun way to choose to announce the news. Many were also excited that she might be married to her long-term boyfriend, who supported her during the times she was in her conservatorship.

Spears had opened up about the fact that she couldn’t get pregnant during her conservatorship, and those in charge of her controlled everything she did, which is upsetting for anyone to hear. Last June, she had announced that she wanted to get married and have a baby, but she was told that she was not allowed. Now, Spears can take charge and do the things she wants to do, which is an overall heartwarming thing to do.
