In the latest episode of The Kardashians, fans get to see a behind-the-scenes look at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s engagement. The two announced in October that they were engaged, exciting supportive fans. So, when fans got to see an inside look at their engagement, many were thrilled. But, since the couple each has three kids, many wondered who was there during the engagement, which was revealed in the episode. In the episode, the majority of Kourtney’s family is present, including Kim, her mom Kris, Kendall, and Kylie. And although Barker’s children are present, Kourtney’s are not.

Kourtney struggles with how she will tell her children, fretting that they will find out through the internet. When she notices her daughter, Penelope, has called her a few times, she calls her back and tells her the news. It was then that Penelope begins to cry. Kourtney later says that she took the news hard because it was a big change, which is often challenging for children.

Later in the episode, Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick, says that their children were upset because they were not invited to an engagement, but Barker’s were, and they had seen this online, which of course can be upsetting. Apparently, it was her mother, Kris Jenner, who decided to not include Kourtney’s three children. Now, online, many have quite the opinion.

Apparently, even Kourtney resonated with some of the Tweets, as she responded with “facts” after one person said that the children should have been there “regardless.” Still, some wondered if Kris just wanted Kourtney to have her moment, and only invited Barker’s children because they are older than Kourtney’s.
