Vidcon made a huge announcement for their convention. The top tier digital convention is expanding to the East Coast with a brand new convention coming to Baltimore, Maryland. The news was sent to Vidcon’s thousands of people on their newsletter.

The event, slotted to be from September 29th – October 1st, will take place at the Baltimore Convention center. Very similar to the Anaheim convention, taking place June 21st – June 24th 2022, the event will consist of performances, meet and greets, and industry insight tracks.

Sarah Tortoreti, VidCon’s SVP marketing and communications, said “We are thrilled to bring VidCon to the east coast for the first time in 2023, allowing us to bring our unique and interactive in-person experience to even more people in the U.S.,” […] Adding Baltimore to our slate allows us to spread the magic of online creators to new audiences that will be inspired and informed through fun and interactive experiences and engaging programming.”

This is the first convention that the company will hold on the east coast and is not too far from where Playlist-Live has held their DC convention.

Tickets go on sale early next year on April 11, 2023.

Vidcon was acquired by Paramount in 2018 and Vidcon has expanded into markets including Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Australia and many more. This year’s event in Anaheim had an estimated 50,000 attendees and featured creators like MrBeast, Charli D’Amelio, Brittany Broski, Drew Afualo and many more.
