We talk about the highs of the creator economy all the time—brand deals, viral moments, the freedom to be your own boss. But we don’t talk enough about the mental health toll that comes with it.
As someone who’s been in this space for over a decade, I’ve seen the emotional rollercoaster creators go through. The pressure to perform. The burnout. The loneliness that comes with tying your self-worth to an algorithm.
That’s why I helped launch CreatorCare—a new therapy platform offering sliding-scale mental health support built specifically for creators. Sessions start at just $60 and go up to $180, depending on income, and are available with or without insurance. It’s real care from licensed professionals and associates—not AI, not bots. Just humans who understand the unique challenges of life online.
I co-founded CreatorCare alongside Creators 4 Mental Health (my advocacy initiative) and Revive Health Therapy, a practice co-founded by Amy Kelly, who literally did her dissertation on Facebook’s psychological impact. Together, we’re building a system of care creators can actually access—not just talk about.
We’re launching first in California and plan to roll out nationwide. Because creators are everywhere—and support should be, too.
This moment feels like a shift. SAG-AFTRA just launched its Influencer Council. The NAB started a Creator Council (which I helped put together). The Creators Guild of America released a contract rider to support and protect creators in their brand deals.
The common thread? We’re finally creating frameworks—not just temporary fixes—for people building careers in this space.

So why CreatorCare? Because we can’t keep calling this the future of work if we don’t invest in the humans powering it.
And if platforms or brands won’t build the safety net, we will.
