One Turtle Helps Another Turn Over While Humans Watch

YouTube user AuDi Yu and her daughter were visiting the Taipei Zoo in Taiwan and witnessed this incident. Two turtles — one standing up, the other trapped on the backside of its shell.

“No need to wait for the zookeeper!” said Turtle #1, the hero, whom I shall call Monique. “I’ve got this.”

Gearing up for some heavy neck lifting, Monique gets an angle on Turtle #2 (hereafter Sandy) and starts to lift. To the amazement of all, Sandy turned up, up, and over! On their four legs again, Monique and Sandy were free to explore their 600 square foot enclosure in peace.

The humans, whom shall remain nameless, were of no help whatsoever.
