  • We don’t treat fish very well, do we? We consider catching them sport, there’s an entire diet where you eat only them (the writer of this article is a pescatarian, so there we go), and do we bury them in an ornate graveyard when they die? No! We flush them down a big toilet. That is where our poop goes.

Our poop, ladies and gentlemen. Our poop.

So you don’t get no respect if you’re a fish— unless you’re the fish of one Taylor Dean, aquarium worker and social media star. Taylor Dean was given a goldfish with a swim bladder problem — making it hard for the little guy to stay afloat or right side up. Well, not to worry little fish! Taylor Dean is on the case! Taylor built the fish a tiny little wheelchair letting the little fella float perfectly nicely. Little fish! You’re going to be okay! Little fish!

  • Taylor explained to Buzzfeed how she created the chair, saying —

“I got some airline tubing that people usually use in their tank and just placed it around the goldfish. I added some valves to the bottom of it, which acted as a ‘chair’ to prop him up. I added weights to the bottom of the ‘chair’ and something to keep him afloat on top (styrofoam), and slowly removed pieces until I achieved just the right buoyancy to make it easy for him to swim around without feeling like he’s dragging around a chair.”

Adorable. What do you think of the little fish? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending
