Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, meet eye “the tear” crying! When Dwayne Johnson went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote his new film Moana, few in the audience knew a surprise was coming– but make no mistake! Dwayne Johnson would never have a traditional late night appearance!
The wrestler turned actor barged with Fallon into the Tonight Show control room to thank producer Karina Kabalan for her service. Karina Kabalan met her husband Todd Kabalan when they were together overseas, and her husband Todd was still at war. Or so she thought. As Dwayne Johnson listed off facts about her love with her husband, she turned around and saw him, hugging the man she missed. Jimmy Fallon could hardly hold back the tears.
Fallon has always been about pulling stunts, but this is a rare instance where the stunt was inspiring rather than goofy. And who better than that avatar of warmth that is Dwayne Johnson to showcase it.
