  • “Eyyy! It’s me Chris Christie! I don’t care bout you, or you or nuthin!” That’s America’s Chris Christie impression after Christie — well, after a whole variety of things. Bridgegate, where he closed down a bridge as some kind of weird revenge for one, assisting with the Trump campaigned, and getting clowned on by it as well, and then there’s this. After closing down the publish beaches in New Jersey, he was seen by an aerial camera taking in the rays.

Christie ordered a shutdown of the New Jersey government in order to force New Jersey state democrats to pass a new budget that severely impacts Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the state’s largest insurer. Basically, Christie wants a rich guy tax cut off the back of health insurance, and he’s willing to play tough guy.

Christie and his family soaked in the sun all by themselves in front of a state-owned governor’s residence on Island Beach State Park. Christie doesn’t own this house, New Jersey does. It’s government-owned as well as the beach property its on.

Christie told the press “That’s the way it goes. Run for governor, and you can have the residence.” If you are worried about getting down the Shore this July Fourth, don’t worry. The Gov’s gonna take good care of you.

Christie has reopened the beaches with an emergency budget, tweeting, “NJ beaches are open in 119 of our our 130 miles of coastline. Come and enjoy them–but use sunscreen and hydrate!”
