  • After his insane appearance on KTLA 5 in Los Angeles, Jake Paul became known in the mainstream media as a reckless young star creating chaos in his neighborhood. Now, in his new song, Jake Paul tries to turn it all around and show the world he’s not such a bad guy.

The video for “YouTube Stars Diss Track” starts with this Disclaimer, saying it’s not actually a diss track.

    Nice clickbait title, Jake!

In the video, Jake is seen walking around Los Angeles at night, sulking around a Ralph’s grocery, and driving around town in a Tesla with the gull-wing doors wide open. In the song, he lists all the good things he’s done. Things like making meals for the less fortunate on Thanksgiving, helping bullied kids in school, and giving away Jake Paul t-shirts.

From the lyrics, it’s clear that Jake Paul is angry. But I don’t think he understands why people are criticizing him. Jake is equating his departure from Disney with Selena Gomez’s. This is nuts. Selena Gomez left Disney after 4 seasons on Wizards of Waverly Place, as well as numerous musical projects and tours. Jake Paul was dropped from the cast of Bizaardvark mid-season after a year and a half on the show.

After one viral news appearance, Jake Paul seems to think the news is out to get him.

Is it a good thing that Jake Paul gives his time to charity? Yes, absolutely. But doing good stuff doesn’t magically fix the bad stuff.  Even after the news report, fans still crowd the house Jake Paul rents for his company Team 10. Families are still terrorized by fans breaking into the property and covering the place in graffiti.

Being a good person also means taking responsibility when you do something wrong instead of blaming others. You’re also not a good person if you drive down the street with your doors open.
